Kents Cavern is one of Europe’s top and most exciting Stone Age caves, with an extensive labyrinth of spectacular and easily accessible caverns open daily all year. Our entertaining guides will take you on an underground adventure in this award winning attraction and Stone Age home to Britain’s earliest humans and Ice Age beasts. Trips around the caves explore fascinating passageways and stunning chambers where you can get up close with thousands of year old cave formations.
There’s loads to do outside the caves, with fun family activities throughout the school holidays, where you can channel the skills of your ancestors on our Woodland Trail. Discover all the Ice Age Animal statues hiding in our woodlands including a woolly mammoths, cave bear and wolf. Use logs and branches from the woods to build a shelter in our designated part of the woodlands. Don’t forget you can collect a free woodland trail activity booklet with your cave ticket.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite head into Firestone Kitchen, the home of food and drink at the caves for top quality food throughout the day. (Top tip: you don’t need to visit the caves to enjoy Firestone Kitchen!)
