Babbacombe and St Marychurch

Babbacombe Downs has the UK’s highest cliff top promenade and a ride on the Victorian funicular railway will take you down to Oddicombe Beach. You can dine al fresco close to the beach or enjoy award-winning fish and chips. St Marychurch provides some retail therapy with its independent and unique shops.

Paignton

Paignton, famous for its colourful beach huts and award-winning beaches, is a fun-filled destination. Go wild at Paignton Zoo, voted third best zoo in the UK by TripAdvisor, or if the kids fancy getting wet, head for Splashdown Quaywest, the UK’s largest outdoor water park. Take a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway for a nostalgic trip along the stunning coastline and lush woodlands. Head to Occombe Farm to see English farm animals and a newly renovated farm shop.

Take a walk around the picturesque Paignton Harbour where there are some great value dining experiences. There’s a choice of holiday shopping and evening entertainment at the many bars and cafés throughout the town and harbour.

Brixham
